Job summary

Servco Pacific Inc. operates Servco Toyota Hilo and seeks a Service Consultant to welcome customers, determine needed services, and act as the primary liaison between customers and technicians for timely, efficient work.

Responsibilities include providing accurate cost/time estimates, monitoring progress, booking repairs, arranging loaners if needed, and ensuring all requested work is completed and paid for before returning the vehicle.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Experience in an auto dealership or service writing is preferred.
• Valid driver's license and good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Welcome customers and determine which vehicle services are needed.
• Liaise between technicians and customers to explain work required.
• Inspect records and assess if additional services are needed.
• Provide accurate cost and time estimates and obtain customer approval.
• Monitor service status and keep the customer informed.
• Book and close repair orders on a timely basis.
• Arrange for loaner vehicles if needed.
• Follow up on backordered parts and schedule return appointments.
• Ensure all requested items are completed and payment is made before return.
