Job summary

Swickard Auto Group, a hospitality-focused automotive leader, is seeking a Service Advisor for Acura of Thousand Oaks. You will be the primary guest contact, translating repairs into clear language, delivering honest estimates, and coordinating with technicians to keep service flowing smoothly.

Ideal candidates have service-advisor or guest-facing experience, strong communication, and a customer-first mindset.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of service advisor, hospitality, or guest-facing sales experience preferred.
• Acura or import brand experience a plus; product knowledge is trainable, people skills are not.
• Clear, composed communicator — explain service needs in plain language.
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail — accurate estimates and timelines.
• Self-motivated with a drive to take care of guests and grow earnings.
• Comfortable learning DMS platforms and Acura service processes — training provided.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

What You'll Do

• Serve as the primary point of contact for guests throughout the service process -- from write-up to delivery
• Translate technical repair information into clear, confident communication that earns trust and sets accurate expectations
• Build precise estimates, commit to realistic timelines, and follow through on every promise made to the guest
• Coordinate with technicians and parts to keep repair workflows moving efficiently and on schedule
• Identify and present additional service recommendations that protect guest safety and vehicle performance
• Deliver a consistent, professional guest experience that keeps Acura owners coming back to this store
• Maintain accurate records in the DMS and uphold all documentation and compliance standards

What We're Looking For

• 1+ year of service advisor, hospitality, or guest-facing sales experience preferred -- candidates from strong customer service backgrounds encouraged to apply
• Acura or import brand experience a plus -- not required; product knowledge is trainable, people skills are not
• Clear, composed communicator -- able to explain service needs in plain language and follow through without gaps
• Highly organized with strong attention to detail -- accurate estimates and realistic timelines are non-negotiable
• Self-motivated with a genuine drive to take care of guests and grow your earnings
• Comfortable learning DMS platforms and Acura service processes -- we'll invest in your training from day one
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
