Job summary

O is seeking a Service Writer to join our VW team. The ideal candidate will have automotive service advisor experience and a valid driver’s license. Responsibilities include meeting with customers, assessing needs, delivering excellent service, and upholding quality control.

Responsibilities also include tracking vehicle progress, maintaining professional image, and supporting technicians. This role offers opportunities for growth within the company and to advance within the automotive service

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid commercial driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Accredited training in service advisor skills.
• Automotive service advisor experience.
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).
• Ability to concentrate and multitask.
• Proficient with computers/business machines.

Responsibilities

• Meet with customers and determine their repair/service needs.
• Increase customer satisfaction by building relationships.
• Maintain company standards for ethics, image, orderliness and service.
• Monitor vehicle progress and update customers frequently.
• Increase profitability by maximizing sales and retail promotions.
• Oversee technicians, including time management and parts ordering.
• Participate in quality control and SOP documentation.

Responsibilities

• Meet with customers and determine their needs for repair and/or service of their vehicle issues
• Increase customer satisfaction by building customer relations
• Maintain the company’s standards for ethical business practices, professional image, orderliness, customer service, and good employee and community relations
• Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day, and update customers frequently
• Increase profitability by maximizing sales & executing retail promotions
• Oversee technicians working on customers’ vehicles, including their time management/efficiency, parts ordering, job completion times
• Oversee and participate in quality control
• Participate in the development and documentation of standard operating procedures as appropriate

Qualifications
