Job summary

Florida Kenworth is seeking a customer service focused individual to take on our Service Advisor role in Tampa. Excellent starting wage and comprehensive benefits offered. Hours are 11:30 AM to 8:00 PM, Tue–Fri and Sat 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Create a positive initial contact with service customers.
• Insure that all service phone calls are handled professionally and expediently.
• Schedule service repairs with shop foremen.
• Explain payment requirements to customers before work commences.
• Maintain communication with customers during the repair process.
• Close repair orders and document service details.
• Open work orders and discuss service issues with customers.
• Willingness to work up to 12 hours per day when required.

We are a successful and growing dealer group with locations in over four states that is looking to add another valuable member to our high performing team!*Expected hours for this role will be 11:30 AM to 8:00 PM, Tuesday through Friday and Saturdays from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.Responsibilities:Create a positive initial contact with service customersInsure that all service phone calls are handled professionally and expedientlyWork closely with shop foremen to schedule service repairsPerform additional duties as required by the Service ManagerPerform all required tasks in accordance with company Standard Operating ProceduresPrimary Duties:Open work ordersDiscuss service issues with customer and create an accurate description of customer's service problems and requestsDetermine method of payment and explain payment requirements to customer before work commencesMaintain communication with customer as necessary during the repair processMaintain complete knowledge of OEM and vendor warrantiesClose repair ordersAbility to work in a dealership environment with frequent exposure to weather elementsWillingness and ability to work up to 12 hours per day as requiredAbility to sell service workAbility to work with customers in a variety of situationsGood writing and communication skillsSufficient computer skillsAbility to sit, stand, bend, kneel, stoop and or lift/move up to 75 lbs on a regular basis
