Job summary

Rihm Family Companies is seeking a Service Advisor to coordinate customer repairs from opening to closing, assign work to technicians, and keep customers updated via phone, text, or email. The role emphasizes accuracy in estimates, documentation, and timely RO closure.

Prior service-writing experience and knowledge of trucks/trailers are highly valued. Candidates should be able to interact professionally, manage after-hours calls, and maintain efficient, organized work processes in a truck

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to use computer and applications effectively.
• Experience in service writing/advising is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedules service work for efficient outcomes.
• Greets customers in a timely, friendly manner.
• Documents accurate descriptions of customer complaints.
• Creates and communicates estimates and time to repair.
• Obtains customer approved PO signatures.
• Explains repairs to customers and closes ROs promptly.
