Job summary

Newton Motor Group in Shelbyville, TN is seeking a Service Advisor to greet clients, gather vehicle information, and explain service recommendations. You will prepare estimates, coordinate timelines, and keep customers informed throughout the repair process.

This on-site role requires a customer-focused, self-motivated professional with knowledge of dealership software (Reynolds & Reynolds, XTime). A valid driver's license is required and a commission-based pay structure with weekly draws is

Qualifications

• Customer service experience required.
• Knowledge of Reynolds & Reynolds DMS preferred.
• Knowledge of XTime Operating System preferred.
• Must have a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Greets clients promptly.
• Obtains client and vehicle information.
• Documents vehicle symptoms as described by the client.
• Advises on needed maintenance based on vehicle age, mileage, and history.
• Prepares complete and accurate estimates of labor and parts cost.
• Establishes follow-up and service completion time.
• Monitors progress of each vehicle and updates clients on status.
• Verifies final invoice reconciles with work performed.

Responsibilities

• Greets Clients Promptly
• Obtains Client and Vehicle Information
• Clearly Documents All Vehicle Symptoms as Described by the Client
• Determines and Advises on Needed Maintenance Based on Vehicle Age, Mileage, and History.
• Prepares Complete and Accurate Estimates of Cost for Labor and Parts
• Establishes Follow-Up and/or Service Completion Time
• Monitors the Progress of Each Vehicle Throughout the Day along with Updating Clients Frequently of Status
• Verifies that the Final Service Invoice Reconciles with the Work Performed on the Repair Order
• Explains all Completed Work and Charges to the Client
• Answers Phone Calls Regarding to Setting Appointments, Answering Questions, and Providing any Related Information the Client Requests
• Makes Outbound Phone Calls to Clients for Service Follow-Up and Available Offers the Manufacture or Dealership Have.

Pay Range: $55,000 - $75,000 per Year (Pay is 100% Commission with Weekly Draw)
