Job summary

Moss Bros. Auto Group in Riverside, CA is seeking a hands-on service leader to oversee the drive lane, manage technicians, and champion an exceptional customer experience. This role emphasizes teamwork, accountability, and strong communication to ensure high customer satisfaction and efficient service operations.

The position requires a proven sales and service track record, professional presentation, and the ability to work with little supervision in a busy dealership environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee service orders and flow of Drive Lane; ensure prompt, courteous service.
• Take ownership of the customer experience and follow through on assignments.
• Provide concierge support for owner inquiries, in person or by phone.
• Ensure daily technician time is allocated and sold to service customers.
• Distribute work between technicians efficiently; answer vehicle questions.
• Maintain Customer Success Index per company standards.
• Assist in diagnosing vehicle problems; order parts/tools as needed.
• Oversee warranty claims administration and service dept. training.
• Reinforce company policies and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Foster good relations with factories and employees.

• Pay range for this position is $5,000-$10,000 a month

Responsibilities

• Oversee service orders and flow of Drive Lane. Ensure that customers receive prompt, courteous, and effective service
• Take ownership of the customer's experience by carrying out those additional assignments that allow the dealership to leave a positive impression with the customer
• Provide concierge support for all owner inquiries, whether phone or in person, to assure the customer does not get mishandled
• Ensure the daily inventory of technicians' time is consistently sold to service customers
• Distribute work between technicians efficiently
• Answer technical questions about vehicle problems, warranties, services, and repairs
• Maintain Customer Success Index at or above company standards
• Assist in diagnosing vehicle problems; order parts and tools as necessary
• Oversee administration of warranty claims as well as training and supervising of service department
• Reinforces company policies and adheres to company standards
• Encourages compliance with applicable laws and regulations
• Maintain good working relationship with factory(s) and foster positive employee relations
