Job Description
Title: Personal Lines Service Advisor
Fully remote for Florida based candidates.
About the Role: Personal Lines Service Advisor is responsible for SimplyIOA client service activities including overall client service and communications; implementation of client insurance policies, related administrative processes, tracking renewals, new policy set-up, policy review, and policy data management/entry; identification for sales and retention opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Book Management:Manages an assigned book of business, meeting all performance requirements regarding production, quality, and service.
- Coverage Opportunities:Seeks to extend SimplyIOA coverage opportunities related to daily service tasks.
- Renewal Engagement:Remains actively engaged in the client’s non-renewal and policy renewal process.
- Payment Processing:Processes payments, completes endorsements, facilitates thorough policy reviews, and fulfills fiduciary duties when providing coverage counseling.
- Claims Facilitation:Assists with the facilitation of client claims processes as needed.
- Communication:Maintains frequent and transparent communication with the supervisor regarding any obstacles and issues affecting the ability to meet performance expectations and seeks, accepts, and implements performance coaching.
- Team Support:Acts as a backup for teammates as needed, covering for others in their absence and ensuring overall team service excellence.
- Service Excellence:Delivers excellent service, including proactively anticipating needs, maintaining frequent and professional communication, and responding quickly to service requests, striving towards a first call resolution outcome.
- Performance Improvement:Continually seeks to improve individual and team performance, including identifying, communicating, and adopting best practices.
- Core Values:Lives and champions SIMPLYIOA/IOA core values, demonstrating the highest level of personal character, integrity, and servant leadership.
- Schedule Adherence:Adheres to assigned work schedule to ensure availability for clients.
- Data Management:Diligently updates the Agency Management system and stays up to date with follow-ups.
- Licensure Maintenance:Maintains Continuing Education Credits to keep insurance licensure active.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications
- Minimum insurance license OR state required Personal Lines license (20-44)
- Preferred 2+ years of personal lines insurance experience managing books of business
- Ability to obtain licensing in all 50 states
- Exceptional decision-making, delegation, multi-tasking, and organizational skills
- Outstanding team player and customer service skills
- Ability to perform large work volumes with accuracy
- Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
- High School Diploma (or equivalent); College Degree desirable
