Job Description
Title: Personal Lines Service Advisor

Fully remote for Florida-based candidates.

About the Role:

The Personal Lines Service Advisor manages client service activities including communication, policy implementation, administrative processes, renewals, and data management, with a focus on sales and retention opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Book Management: Manage an assigned book of business, meeting performance standards.
  2. Coverage Opportunities: Identify opportunities to extend coverage during service tasks.
  3. Renewal Engagement: Actively participate in non-renewal and renewal processes.
  4. Payment Processing: Handle payments, endorsements, policy reviews, and coverage counseling.
  5. Claims Facilitation: Assist with client claims processes.
  6. Communication: Maintain transparent communication with supervisors and seek performance coaching.
  7. Team Support: Support teammates and ensure service excellence.
  8. Service Excellence: Deliver proactive, professional, and prompt service.
  9. Performance Improvement: Continuously seek to improve individual and team performance.
  10. Core Values: Uphold IOA's core values with integrity and leadership.
  11. Schedule Adherence: Follow assigned work schedules.
  12. Data Management: Keep the agency system updated and follow up diligently.
  13. Licensure Maintenance: Maintain required continuing education credits.
Ideal Candidate Qualifications:
  • Insurance license or state-required Personal Lines license (20-44).
  • Preferred 2+ years managing personal lines insurance books.
  • Ability to obtain licensing in all 50 states.
  • Strong decision-making, organizational, and multitasking skills.
  • Excellent customer service and team collaboration skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
