Job summary

Kia of Old Saybrook is seeking a Service Advisor to join our team. You will greet customers promptly, obtain vehicle information, and clearly report symptoms described by customers.

You will determine and recommend maintenance based on age, mileage and history, prepare cost estimates for labor and parts, and set follow-up times.

The role offers competitive base salary plus commission, health, dental and vision insurance, paid time off, and ongoing training for career growth.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in a customer service role.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work in a high-volume environment with professionalism.
• Knowledge of vehicle systems and maintenance schedules a plus.
• Positive, team-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly
• Obtain customer and vehicle information
• Clearly report all vehicle symptoms as described by the customer
• Determine and recommend maintenance base on age, mileage and history of vehicle
• Prepare a complete and accurate estimate of cost for labor and parts
• Establish follow up time
• Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day, and update customers frequently
• Verify that the final invoice reconciles with the work performed on the repair order
• Explain all completed work and charges to customers
