Job summary

Tim Dahle Nissan Bountiful is seeking an Automotive Service Advisor to join our dynamic team. You will be the vital link between customers and technicians, delivering transparent service experiences and clear explanations of maintenance needs.

In this role you will greet customers, diagnose issues through conversation and testing, prepare repair orders, and coordinate with our techs to ensure timely work. Excellent communication and vehicle knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an automotive service advisor or in a similar customer service role within the automotive industry.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, maintenance procedures, and repair processes.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and team members.
• Ability to diagnose vehicle issues through questioning, inspection, and testing.
• Proficiency in using automotive service management software and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and listen attentively to their vehicle concerns or service requests.
• Explain necessary maintenance and repair procedures clearly and professionally.
• Assist in diagnosing mechanical issues through customer interviews, visual inspections, or road tests.

• Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely and accurate completion of repairs.
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, service history, and work performed.
