Job summary

Blaise Alexander Kia - Montoursville, PA is seeking an Automotive Service Advisor to join our growing team. You will greet customers, gather vehicle data, document concerns, and help set up the technician for accurate repairs.

The ideal candidate has strong communication, at least 10 years' experience, a HS diploma, a valid driver's license, and familiarity with Reynolds and Reynolds or xTime. We offer health, dental, retirement, and other benefits.

Qualifications

• 10+ years experience as a service advisor, dealership experience preferred.
• HS Diploma or Equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• Reynolds and Reynolds or xTime experience is a plus.
• General knowledge of mechanical and service operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist them with their service needs and questions.
• Obtain and update necessary vehicle and customer data.
• Perform vehicle walk-around and documentation of customer concerns to set up the technician to properly diagnose the vehicle and repairs.
• Establish a timeline of repair and keep the customer up to date on progress. Communicate with the customer via telephone, email, and/or text message.
• Disclose additional work needed or recommended services and obtain customer signature for those repairs.
• Advise customer about the value of car maintenance and review future recommended services.
• Build relationship and rapport with the customer to maintain CSI rating.
• Schedule future maintenance appointments.

Blaise Alexander Family Dealerships are looking for an Automotive Service Advisor to join our growing team!

A Day in the Life of an Automotive Service Advisor (but not limited to):

• Greet customers and assist them with their service needs and questions
