Blaise Alexander Family Dealerships in State College, PA, seeks an Automotive Service Advisor to join our growing team. You will greet customers, document concerns, and coordinate with technicians to ensure accurate diagnoses and timely repairs.

We value clear communication, dependability, and a customer-first attitude. Qualifications include 10+ years in service advisory, HS diploma, and a valid driver's license; Reynolds and Reynolds or xTime experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• 10+ years experience as a service advisor, dealership experience preferred.
• HS Diploma or Equivalent.
• Valid Driver’s License.
• General knowledge of mechanical and service operations preferred

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and assist with service needs.
• Obtain and update vehicle and customer data.
• Document concerns after walk-around to set up technician diagnoses.
• Establish repair timelines and update customers via phone, email, or text.
• Disclose additional work needed and obtain customer signatures.
• Advise on maintenance value and review future services.
• Build rapport to maintain CSI and schedule future maintenance.

Blaise Alexander Family Dealerships are looking for an Automotive Service Advisor to join our growing team!

A Day in the Life of an Automotive Service Advisor (but not limited to):

• Greet customers and assist them with their service needs and questions
• Obtain and update necessary vehicle and customer data
• Perform vehicle walk-around and documentation of customer concerns to set up the technician to properly diagnose the vehicle and repairs
• Establish a timeline of repair and keep the customer up to date on progress. Communicate with the customer via telephone, email, and/or text message.
• Disclose additional work needed or recommended services and obtain customer signature for those repairs
• Advise customer about the value of car maintenance and review future recommended services
• Build relationship and rapport with the customer to maintain CSI rating
• Schedule future maintenance appointments

Qualifications

Qualifications include but are not limited to:

• 10+ Years experience as a service advisor, dealership experience preferred
• Ability to communicate with customers and manage other tasks independently
• Personable and friendly personality
• HS Diploma or Equivalent
• Valid Driver’s License
• General knowledge of mechanical and service operations preferred
• Reynolds and Reynolds or xTime experience is a plus
