This role involves greeting customers, listening to their vehicle concerns, and accurately documenting service needs. The Service Advisor coordinates with the technicians to schedule and prioritize repairs, explains service recommendations and costs, and secures customer approval for work to be performed. Daily responsibilities include creating repair orders, providing status updates, reviewing completed work, and ensuring customers understand maintenance and warranty options. The role also requires handling phone and in-person inquiries, managing follow-up communication, and supporting aftersales initiatives to drive customer retention and satisfaction.
