Job summary

Eide Automotive Group is seeking a Service Advisor to greet customers, listen to their needs, and schedule appointments. You will obtain customer and vehicle information, report symptoms, and prepare accurate labor and parts estimates.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing roles, preferably in automotive service.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to use basic computer programs and service software.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly and obtain vehicle information.
• Clearly report symptoms as described by the customer.
• Prepare estimates for labor and parts based on age, mileage and history.
• Schedule maintenance and manage follow-ups.
• Monitor vehicle progress and update customers regularly.
• Explain completed work and charges to customers.

Service Advisor Responsibilities

• Greet customers promptly
• Obtain customer and vehicle information
• Clearly report all vehicle symptoms as described by the customer
• Determine and recommend maintenance base on age, mileage and history of vehicle
• Prepare a complete and accurate estimate of cost for labor and parts
• Establish follow up time
• Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day, and update customers frequently
• Verify that the final invoice reconciles with the work performed on the repair order
• Explain all completed work and charges to customers

Service Advisor Requirements
