Job summary

Lithia & Driveway is seeking a Service Advisor for Sahara CDR in Las Vegas to coordinate service visits, communicate with technicians, and ensure customers understand needed repairs and estimates.

You will verify warranties, prepare repair orders, and keep customers informed of timelines and pricing. Prior service-advisor experience and a basic mechanical understanding are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Service Advisor preferred.
• Automotive technician experience a plus.
• Team player focused on providing exemplary customer service.
• Basic mechanical understanding of an automobile.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.

Responsibilities

• Initiate automotive services and repairs by identifying performance problems and service requests.
• Verify warranty and service contract coverage and maintain customer records.
• Act as the liaison between customer and technician to ensure needs are understood.
• Develop estimates by costing materials, supplies, and labor; calculate customer payments including deductibles.
• Prepare repair orders (RO) and enter them into the service database system.

Service Advisor

• Pay: $7,000-$12,000 per month
• Schedule: Shop Hours Monday-Friday 7am-6pm, Saturday 7am-2pm. Role requires flexible schedule with 1 day off during the week and all Sundays off.

• Will be responsible for initiating automotive services and repairs by ascertaining vehicle performance problems and service requests;
• Verify warranty and service contract coverage and maintaining customer records.
• Serve as the communicator and liaison between the customer and technician; ensuring the customer’s needs are understood by the technician and the needed and recommended service/repairs are understood by the customer.
• Develop estimates by costing materials, supplies, and labor; calculating customer’s payment, including deductibles.
• Prepare repair orders (RO), obtaining approval signatures and entering RO into service database system.
• Communicate additional repair and service needs to the customer based on vehicle inspection.
• Administer the manufacturer warranty for qualifying vehicle repairs.
• Keeping customer informed of service specials, completion times and service expenses.

What You’ll Bring

• Previous Service Advisor experience, preferred.
• Prior experience as an automotive technician a plus.
• A team player who is focused on providing exemplary customer service.
• Basic mechanical understanding of an automobile.
• Acceptable driving record and a valid driver’s license in your state of residence
