Job summary

Honolulu Ford is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Advisor to join our team in Honolulu, HI. You will handle calls, greet customers, and manage the full spectrum of service, from estimates to delivery, while coordinating with technicians to ensure timely repairs.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years in service-advisor roles, strong typing, math and computer skills, and a valid driver's license. A flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Automotive knowledge and hands-on service experience are required.
• Typing speed and accuracy are important for repair orders.
• Able to calculate service costs and understand pricing.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming telephone calls in a friendly and professional manner.
• Follow ICC and ICC2 processes to engage customers.
• Greet customers and identify, confirm, and resolve concerns.
• Explain needed services, costs, and completion times.
• Conduct vehicle walk-arounds to assess needs.
• Obtain customer agreement for services and inspections.
• Write repair orders accurately in ADP system.
• Dispatch orders to technicians and monitor progress.
• Provide accurate estimates and upfront pricing guarantees.
• Obtain approvals for findings and additional services.
• Ensure proper communication with customers during repairs.
• Process payments and deliver vehicles promptly.
• Explain Sales 2 Service process during delivery.

You will need to be available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.What You'll DoAnswer incoming telephone calls in a friendly and professional manner in accordance with Incoming Telephone Calls standards (ITC).Follow the Initial Customer Contact (ICC) process.Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner.Identify, confirm and offer resolution to customer concerns.Communicate with customer what needs to be done, how much it will cost and when service will be complete.Assess customer needs by conducting a vehicle walk around.Attain agreement from customer for service needs.Offer a multi-point inspection.Write accurate repair orders using ADP system.Follow the Interim Customer Contact (ICC2) process.Provide estimates that are accurate and support upfront pricing guarantee.Obtain approval to review findings of multi-point inspection and associated prices.Obtain approval to proceed with Additional Service Requests.Dispatch repair orders to technicians following department dispatch policy and utilizing cost control methods.Communicate with technicians to gain clear understanding of services required and/or performed.Follow-up with customer during repair/servicing of vehicle so they are aware of status.Follow the Customer Delivery (CD) process.Receive and process cash or credit payment for all services performed.Upon completion of service promptly and professionally deliver vehicle to customer.Ensure the Sales 2 Service process is completely thoroughly by welcoming the customer and explaining what we will provide them.What You'll BringAutomotive Knowledge, 2+ yearsService Advisor Experience, 1+ yearsTyping – ability to type efficiently in order to enter repair orders.Mathematics – calculating service costs and counting change.Basic computer skillsAcceptable driving record and a valid driver's license in your state of residenceTotal RewardsThis is a performance driven position, eligible for short-term and/or long-term incentives as part of total compensation, which includes Commission(s) off Individual Sales, Individual Gross Profit and Bonuses based on Individual Manufacturer Approvability, Customer Pay Labor per RO, Flat Rate Hours.The average pay range for this position is $5,500-$12,000 Monthly.Actual pay offered may vary depending on skills, experience, job-related knowledge, and physical location.
