Job summary

Suburban CDJR Farmington Hills is seeking an experienced Service Advisor to join our team. You will initiate service and repair orders, verify warranty coverage, and prepare accurate estimates while communicating clearly with customers and technicians.

You’ll maintain detailed records and promote service specials to foster long-term relationships. The ideal candidate has proven service-writing experience, strong customer service skills, and a solid automotive knowledge base.

Do you know how to build trust with customers, keep repair orders running smoothly, and communicate confidently with technicians? If so, Suburban CDJR Farmington Hills is the store for you! What You’ll Do:

• Initiate service and repair orders based on customer concerns and vehicle performance
• Verify warranty and service contract coverage
• Build accurate repair estimates including labor, parts, and deductibles
• Communicate service needs clearly to both customers and technicians
• Keep customers informed throughout the repair process—status, costs, and service timelines
• Administer manufacturer warranties for eligible repairs
• Maintain detailed and up-to-date customer records
• Promote current service specials and build long-term customer relationships

What You Bring:

• Proven experience as a Service Writer or Service Advisor
• Background as an automotive technician is a plus
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Solid understanding of automotive systems and repair terminology
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
