Summit Place Kia East is looking for a first‑class Automotive Service Advisor for our dealerships in the greater Detroit area (Oakland and Macomb counties). Pay

Base pay range: $50,000.00/yr – $80,000.00/yr. This range is provided by Summit Place Kia East. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service.
• Build trust and respect with customers, listen and repeat back.
• Use active listening to engage and understand their vehicle issues and concerns.
• Create repair orders and clearly communicate vehicle needs to service technicians.
• Communicate vehicle diagnoses and maintenance needs to customers and advise and sell needed work.
• Follow up, keeping customers updated on their vehicles throughout the repair process.
• Interact with customers, vendors, and technicians in a professional manner at all times.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and professional Service Lane and Lounge.
• Answer phones promptly throughout the day.
• Be helpful and accommodating (scheduling and transportation).
• Prominently display current promotions.
• Greet customers promptly and enthusiastically at their vehicle.

Qualifications

• Experience advising automotive service customers and developing relationships with new and existing customers.
• Dealertrack experience is very helpful.
