Job summary

Lithia & Driveway is seeking an Express Lube Advisor at our Avondale location to deliver exceptional service. You will handle customer interactions, work with technicians, and prepare repair orders while building trust and ensuring clear communication of needs and costs.

Ideal candidates bring Express Lube experience and a mechanical understanding, with a customer-focused approach and a willingness to jump in where needed to support our busy service department.

Qualifications

• Previous Express Lube Advisor experience.
• 1+ years experience as an automotive technician.
• A team player who is focused on providing customer service.
• Basic mechanical understanding of an automobile.

Responsibilities

• Answer incoming calls and greet customers while following established customer contact procedures.
• Build positive customer relationships by identifying concerns, assessing needs, and providing service solutions.
• Be the communicator and liaison between the customer and technician; ensure the technician understands the customer's needs and ensure the customer understands the needed and recommended service/repairs.
• Develop estimates by costing materials, supplies, and labor; calculate customer's payment, including deductibles.
• Prepare repair orders (RO), obtaining approval signatures and entering RO into service database system.
• Communicate additional repair and service needs to the customer based on vehicle inspection.
• Administer the manufacturer warranty for qualifying vehicle repairs.
• Keep customer informed of service specials, completion times and service expenses.

Schedule: We ask that you have open availability to support dealership operations and customer demand. You will need to be available to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
