The ideal candidate will manage repair orders, communicate with the shop, and maintain accuracy in cost estimates while upholding dealership standards and safety practices in Minnesota.

Responsibilities

• Advises customers about necessary service for routine maintenance.
• Explain repairs and provide trust to customers regarding their vehicle concerns.
• Create repair orders accurately for all vehicle repairs.
• Schedule service appointments and welcome customers.
• Refer to service history, inspect vehicles, and recommend additional needed service.
• Provide complete and accurate cost estimates for labor and parts.
• Communicate with shop foreman about incoming work and ensure work is completed.
• Keep service forms, menus, and pricing guides up to date.
• Handle all phone inquiries regarding appointments and work in process.
• Maintain professional appearance and ensure customer cars are kept clean.

DescriptionAs Service Advisor, you have a key role in a dealership’s service department, acting as a primary point of contact between customers and the service team. This role is responsible for managing service appointments, explaining any repairs needed, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the service process. You are to model behaviors and a culture for success including integrity, respect, drive, community, fun and pride without ego, with self-confidence, and creativity.Job Duties and Responsibilities including, but not limited to:Advises customers about necessary service for routine maintenance.Show empathy for customers’ vehicle concerns and provide trust and confidence with addressing their vehicle concerns.Properly and accurately create a repair order for all vehicle repairs.Schedule service appointments.Welcome customers in a timely, friendly manner and obtain all vehicle information.Refers to service history, inspects vehicles, and recommends additional needed service.Provides a complete and accurate cost estimate for labor and parts.Communicates with shop foreman of incoming workReviews repair orders to ensure that work is completed, and additional work and authorization is noted.Keeps service department forms, menus and pricing guides up to date.Handles all phone inquiries regarding appointments and work in process.Maintains a professional appearance.Ensures that customers’ cars are kept clean.
