Alta Equipment Group is seeking a full-time Service Administrator at our Orland Park, IL branch. The role ensures the work order process is managed efficiently and accurately, supporting the service manager and addressing customer and technician needs.

Expected hourly pay ranges from $24 to $28 based on experience. Ideal candidates have prior billing and customer service experience, strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook), and familiarity with ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Prior billing and customer service experience preferred.
• Strong computer skills with Word, Excel and Outlook.
• ERP experience is a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written communication.
• Good time management and the ability to communicate with coworkers and customers.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to the service manager.
• Obtain PO numbers from customers when required.
• Input technician repair write ups into the business system daily.
• Prepare work orders for closure for the service manager to review.
• Ensure all work orders are closed after completion.
• Manage all time entries and payroll for shop and field technicians with supervisor approval.
• Periodically call customers for updates or info.
• Coordinate with inter-company departments on open issues.
• Incorporate Alta's Guiding Principles into daily activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Maintain regular, reliable attendance.
