Job summary

Chesapeake Fire Protection in Odenton, MD is seeking a Service Account Manager to support customers, coordinate service activities, and identify opportunities to expand services. You’ll serve as the primary contact for assigned accounts and work with internal teams to keep inspections, repairs, and maintenance on schedule.

You will build post-sales relationships, review requirements, coordinate dispatches (including third-party and compliance needs), monitor schedules, and communicate timelines.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, or related field preferred.
• 1–3 years of account management, customer service, or related experience.
• Fire protection or technical services experience is a plus.
• Strong communication, organization, and relationship-building skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary contact for assigned customer accounts and build strong, professional relationships.
• Establish post-sales relationships to support inspection, testing, and maintenance services.
• Review customer requirements and coordinate inspection dispatches, including third-party and compliance needs.
• Monitor inspection schedules to ensure dispatches are completed, updated, or modified as needed.
• Prepare deficiency repair proposals, create and dispatch work orders, and communicate repair timelines.
• Follow up after inspections to ensure customer satisfaction and identify additional service opportunities.
• Respond to customer questions regarding billing, pricing, inspection results, and account needs.
• Partner with Service, Operations, and Billing teams to ensure accurate documentation and efficient service.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
