Job summary

Racine Country Club in Racine, WI is seeking friendly servers to join our food & beverage team. As a Server, you'll deliver exceptional service to members and guests and you'll have the opportunity to train as a bartender.

This role emphasizes teamwork, accuracy with the POS system, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, with growth opportunities and training provided.

Qualifications

• Prior experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Calm under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Detail-oriented with ability to operate POS systems accurately.
• Team player with positive work ethic.
• Must be at least 18 years old to serve alcohol.
• Eagerness to learn and cross-train as a bartender.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and carry trays for long shifts.
• Flexible schedule including days, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Warmly greet and engage members and guests.
• Collaborate with the team to deliver top-tier service.
• Manage table stations and provide attentive service throughout meals.
• Take and deliver accurate food and beverage orders.
• Demonstrate knowledge of the menu and upsell when appropriate.
• Anticipate member needs and offer proactive assistance.
• Process orders, payments, and checks using the POS system.
• Keep station clean and organized during shifts.
• Assist with clearing tables and setting up event space.
• Follow club guidelines for responsible alcohol service.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
