Job summary

Snowshoe Mountain in Snowshoe, WV is hiring for seasonal restaurant roles focused on guest service. Responsibilities include taking orders, delivering food, and keeping stations stocked while providing friendly service.

Positions may require early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays. Pay is $5 per hour plus tips, with on-mountain employee housing available and a range of perks including medical, 401k, and generous retail discounts.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Seasonal restaurant experience preferred.
• Ability to work early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent guest service by taking orders and delivering food.
• Recommend dining options and keep service stations stocked and clean.
• Provide information to guests about the resort.
• Verify guests’ age before serving alcohol when required.
• Balance cash and close out reports at end of shift.

Job Responsibilities

• Provide excellent guest service by taking orders, delivering food and drinks in a timely manner
• Recommend dining options by being knowledgeable of menu and special offerings
• Assist team in keeping service stations stocked and clean
• Provide information to guests by being knowledgeable of the resort
• Verify guest are of legal age before serving alcohol by asking for identification
• Ensures proper distribution of revenue by balancing bank and performing closeout reports at end of shift

Education

• High School Diploma or GED

Preferred Experience

• Previous restaurant experience
