Job summary

Snowshoe Mountain in Snowshoe, WV is seeking a Restaurant or Cabin Supervisor for seasonal work. You will manage diverse dining settings, from slope-side spots to full-service venues, and coordinate staff to ensure guest satisfaction.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Seasonal supervisory role with on-site duties.
• Experience in hospitality or food service is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assign and direct tasks, appraise performance, and address complaints to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Oversee compliance with health codes and company guidelines.
• Maintain positive staff relations and provide support on the outlet and resort.
• Balance end-of-shift reports and money to ensure revenue accuracy.
• Cover absent positions as needed (bartender, server, busser).
• Support team goals by completing related tasks.

• Ensure Compliance: Oversee staff adherence to state and company regulations, including health codes and employee handbook guidelines.
• Foster Staff Relations: Maintain a positive rapport with staff by being knowledgeable and supportive regarding the outlet and resort.
• Revenue Accuracy: Complete and balance all reports and money at the end of each shift to ensure proper revenue.
• Flexibility: Cover any absent positions, such as bartender, server, or busser, as needed.
• Support Team Efforts: Contribute to team goals by completing related tasks and achieving results as required.

Education

Preferred Experience

• 3 to 6 months of Supervisory Experience
