Job summary

Gold Key PHR is seeking an attentive server to enhance the dining experience by anticipating guest needs and making thoughtful menu and beverage recommendations. You will be responsible for guiding guests through the ordering process from greeting to check presentation, while maintaining high standards of service and presentation.

Qualifications include at least 18 years of age and experience in high-volume service is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old to comply with all State, Federal & Corporate liquor regulations pertaining to service of alcoholic beverages.
• Experience in high-volume serving is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Know all aspects of the menu and daily specials.
• Make specific suggestions of menu items and beverages while demonstrating the ability to up-sell.
• Perform procedures for the ordering process from the initial greeting to the check presentation in accordance with the sequence of service and service timing standards.
• Abide by all State, Federal and Corporate liquor regulations & alcohol awareness pertaining to service of alcoholic beverages.
• Provide Guest Service using a tray to carry the properly plated food items & properly garnished drinks.
• Anticipate guest needs, such as replenishing beverages & condiments.
• Maintain accurate bank & act as own cashier as needed while adhering to all company cash handling procedures.
• Maintain station cleanliness & organization throughout shift.
• Complete all assigned opening, running, & closing side work.
