Job summary

Graves Hospitality Corporation in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a friendly server to join our team. You will know the menu, assist guests, take orders, input in the POS, and ensure timely delivery of food and beverages.

The role emphasizes guest satisfaction, adherence to alcohol service regulations, maintaining a stocked station, and performing necessary side work. Airport badging is not required.

A $250 welcome bonus is offered to new hires who meet criteria.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of progressive food & beverage service experience.
• Tips certified or willing to take the course.
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Know menu, promotions, ingredients and preparation.
• Respond to guest requests promptly and courteously.
• Take guest food and/or beverage orders and input into POS.
• Retrieve and deliver food and beverages in a timely manner.
• Ensure guest satisfaction throughout the meal service.
• Serve alcohol/non-alcoholic beverages in compliance with regulations.
• Keep serving station stocked at all times.
• Perform side work and other duties as designated by supervisor.
• Maintain regular attendance and comply with work breaks and meals.
• Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming, including dress code.
• Perform other duties as requested by supervisor.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Ensure knowledge of menu and restaurant promotions and specials, including ingredients and preparation.
• Respond to guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner. .
• Take guest food and/or beverage orders and input orders in appropriate point-of-sale system.
• Retrieve and deliver food and beverage orders in a timely manner.
• Ensure guest satisfaction throughout the meal service.
• Serve alcohol/non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with federal, state, local and company regulations.
• Ensure serving station is well-stocked at all times.
• Perform side work and any other duties as designated by supervisor.
• Maintains regular attendance, is consistently on time, and observes prescribed work, break and meal periods in compliance with standards.
• Maintains high standards of personal appearance and grooming, which include compliance with the dress code.
• Performs any other duties as requested by supervisor.

Education & Experience:

• At least 1 year of progressive food & beverage service experience
• Tips certified or willing to take the course
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
