Paso Robles Inn, in partnership with the Charlie Palmer Collective, seeks experienced servers for The Pass opening late 2026. You will deliver beverage and food service with enthusiasm, accuracy, and a guest‑centered approach, creating memorable dining experiences in a thriving hospitality setting.

Preferred candidates have prior bar and service experience, California alcohol regulations knowledge, and a commitment to safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or related field is preferred.
• Experience serving is required.
• Responsible Beverage Service and Food Handler Certification per California law are required.

Responsabilités

• Attentively take beverage orders from guests and servers, efficiently preparing cocktails per recipes and policies.
• Accurately record drink orders and enter into the register, process guest payments and make change.
• Receive and serve food orders to guests seated at the bar.
• Organize, maintain bottles and glasses, and restock bar inventory in an aesthetically pleasing, functional manner.
• Maintain bar area cleanliness including tables, counters, sinks, utensils, shelves, glassware and storage areas.
• Present drink menus, answer guest questions and make recommendations with a friendly demeanor.
• Maintain open communication with the restaurant manager to ensure smooth operation.
• Report equipment problems and bar maintenance issues to the manager.
• Adhere to hotel policies and safety procedures throughout tasks.

Compensation: $16.90 At Paso Robles Inn, we are proud to partner with the renowned Charlie Palmer Collective to introduce The Pass — opening late 2026. The Pass joins Cattlemen’s Bar and Salina Rooftop as part of our growing dining collaboration with Chef Charlie Palmer. We are seeking experienced servers who has a profound interest in hospitality, spirits, food and wine, and is passionate about providing the highest level of guest service. You will be responsible for providing timely and accurate service to guests with enthusiasm and positivity. You are innovative in creating a friendly guest service experience, striving to exceed guest needs and expectations during their visit. The server is responsible for providing the highest quality of service to guests in an attentive, courteous, and efficient manner. The individual is also responsible for receiving and delivering guests orders and collecting payment.

Responsibilities

• Attentively take beverage orders from guests and servers, efficiently preparing alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails consistent with the restaurant’s recipes and policies.
• Accurately record drink orders and immediately enter orders into the register system, in addition to accepting and recording guest payment, charges, and making change.
• Receive and serve food orders to guests seated at the bar.
• Organize, maintain bottles and glasses, and restock bar inventory in an aesthetically pleasing, functional manner to promote beverages and support efficient drink preparation.
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of bar area, including tables, counters, sinks, utensils, shelves, glassware, and storage areas.
• Present drink menus, answer guest questions, and make recommendations with a friendly demeanor.
• Maintain open communication with restaurant manager or supervisor, being readily available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant.
• Actively report all equipment problems and bar maintenance issues to restaurant manager.
• Adhere to all hotel policies and procedures throughout the execution of tasks and responsibilities.
• Sustain the safety of the property though risk-management behavior, proper inspections, participation in Safety and Security Committee and knowledge of emergency procedures.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality or a related field preferred
• Experience serving is required
• In compliance with California laws, Responsible Beverage Service and Food Handlers Certification are required

Physical Requirements

The minimum physical requirements for this position include but are not limited to:

• Must be able to lift and/or carry up to 40 pounds frequently to assist guests
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to hear, understand and communicate orally and in writing to communicate with staff, vendors and guests a normal in-person and phone conversation
• Ability to bend and twist, push and pull, stoop, and kneel
• Long hours sometimes required.
