Job summary

eNGINE is hiring Server Techs, Admins, or Engineers to join a patching team supporting a large banking environment. This is hands‑on, execution‑focused work: installing patches via SCCM across Windows servers and troubleshooting the patches that don't go smoothly.

Responsibilities include deploying patches across SQL, applications, and web servers, troubleshooting failures, following change management and documentation processes, and working within defined windows which may include non‑standard

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with SCCM patch deployment.
• Comfortable with command line interfaces.
• Working knowledge of file permissions and Active Directory.
• Ability to troubleshoot patch failures independently.

What You'll Do

• Deploy and manage patches via SCCM across Windows servers supporting SQL, applications, and web servers for departments across the bank
• Troubleshoot and remediate failed or problematic patch deployments
• Follow established change management and documentation processes to support compliance and reporting requirements (full training provided)
• Work within defined windows/schedules, which may include non-standard hours

Required Skills

• Hands‑on experience with SCCM patch deployment
• Comfortable with command line interfaces
• Working knowledge of file permissions and Active Directory
• Ability to troubleshoot patch failures independently

Nice to Have

• Vulnerability management experience (there's room to grow into more of this over time as the team matures)
