Job summary

Zebra Technologies is seeking an Infrastructure Architect to bridge business strategy and technical execution. You will design scalable, secure IT infrastructure with a focus on cloud enablement and zero-trust principles, guiding engineering teams to implement lifecycle-aligned platforms.

Responsibilities include SIP governance, EOL coordination, and leveraging AI for automation to streamline processes. Strong cross-platform Linux/Windows skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years of related experience.
• Excel analysis and data management (pivot tables, lookup).
• Visio diagram creation and shape manipulation.
• Cross-platform Linux/Windows server infrastructure design.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (GCP, AWS, Azure) and serverless containers.
• Understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing in hosting.
• Security architecture fundamentals and AI for workflow automation.
• Repeat: Excel analysis and Visio skills and cross‑platform infra.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate to validate server/storage designs against security and capacity needs.
• Manage preliminary server intake requests and SIP processes.
• Generate quarterly SLO reports and EOL/SIP reporting.
• Lead architectural/ SIP meetings during coordinators' absences.
• Leverage AI and automation to reduce manual SIP/EOL efforts.
• Coordinate decommissioning of aging IT systems.
