Job summary

Zebra is seeking a Cloud AI Engineer, Lead to drive innovation across IT Platform Engineering, Cloud Security, and AI initiatives. You will architect, build, and scale cloud-native AI platforms, AI-powered log analytics, and semantic developer tooling, partnering with stakeholders to deliver rapid PoCs.

You will lead a team of cloud and AI engineers, craft governance for AI/ML deployments, and ensure RBAC and PII masking are integrated into automated CI/CD pipelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years in an operations style team (NOC/SOC/MOC) or similar.
• Hands-on Google Gemini Enterprise experience with ADK.
• Multi-Cloud & GenAI platform proficiency (GCP, Azure, OpenAI, Anthropic).
• Experience in global, hybrid cloud and on-prem environments.
• Strong Python for automation and testing; containerized AI solutions with Kubernetes & Docker.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate emerging innovation opportunities across Platform Engineering and Cloud Infrastructure.
• Translate complex findings into clear user stories and requirements.
• Lead PoCs and hands-on delivery for cloud and platform innovations.
• Research disruptive technologies (GenAI, ML, RPA, AI agents) and provide recommendations.
• Drive cross-functional collaboration and alignment with Zebra teams.
• Plan ideation workshops and promote modern engineering methodologies.
• Mentor cloud and AI platform engineers toward log analytics and AIOps.
• Oversee CI/CD pipelines with PII masking and RBAC integration.
