Overview

The main responsibility of the In-Room Dining Server is to provide high-quality food and beverage service to guests, maintain assigned floors, and ensure an enjoyable dining experience.

Responsibilities

Essential Functions: (These functions are illustrative and not exhaustive)

1. Provide prompt, friendly, courteous service to all food and beverage guests.
2. Deliver and serve food, beverages, and amenities to guest rooms and designated areas.
3. Monitor order accuracy and review with guests to ensure correctness.
4. Engage guests in conversation about their stay, services, and local attractions.
5. Communicate clearly and professionally with guests and co-workers.
6. Monitor guest room corridors for safety, obstructions, and guest well-being.
7. Complete opening and closing duties during shifts.
8. Maintain cleanliness of work areas, practicing 'clean as you go'.
9. Report maintenance issues to management.
10. Fulfill additional reasonable requests from management.

Physical Tasks

1. Read and verify information in various formats.
2. Stand, sit, or walk for long periods.
3. Lift and carry objects up to 50 pounds.
4. Manipulate objects requiring fine motor skills.
5. Navigate uneven or slippery surfaces.
6. Use stairs and ramps as needed.
7. Reach overhead and below knees, including bending and twisting.

Qualifications

1. At least six months of related experience.
2. Valid licenses/certifications as per regulations.
3. Valid driver’s license for those operating company vehicles.
4. Successful background and drug screenings.
5. Friendly, outgoing personality.
6. Ability to work independently and learn quickly.
7. Ability to work fast and maintain attention to detail.
8. Handle stress effectively.
9. Must be 21 or older.
