As a Room Service Server at The Pfister Hotel, you will be responsible for delivering menu items directly to our guest’s rooms in a professional and timely manner ensuring total satisfaction.

As a Room Service Server at The Pfister Hotel, you will be responsible for delivering menu items directly to our guest’s rooms in a professional and timely manner ensuring total satisfaction.

Built in 1893, The Pfister Hotel in Milwaukee has been a hotel icon for nearly 130 years. As one of the best hotels in Milwaukee and the Midwest, we continue to celebrate a grand tradition of gracious service and impeccable style. The Pfister Hotel has received AAA Four Diamond hotel status for 46 consecutive years. The hotel is one of only 11 properties throughout North America to maintain the AAA Four Diamond designation since the inception of the Diamond Rating program in 1976.

Position Type: Part-Time

Pay: 7.25/hr. base pay + Tips

What You Will Be Doing

• Learn all menu items in food and beverage outlets and the proper garnishments to execute proper plate set-up.
• Prepare trays and deliver to rooms.
• Maintain condition and cleanliness of work area.
• Maintain complete guest satisfaction by adhering to service standards.
• Check floors to ensure all trays and carts are retrieved.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
  
  

What We Are Looking For

• Must have basic knowledge of food deliverance.
• Ability to read and understand menus and dining tickets.
• Ability to remember menu specifics including proper plate ware set-up and garnishment.
• Ability to transport trays weighing up to 40 lbs. through a crowded room on a continuous basis throughout shift.
• Maintain a positive attitude throughout shift and work as a team player.
• Must have fast ability to move throughout multiple tasks with exceptional execution.
