Job summary

BCforward seeks a Server Patch Management/Infrastructure Automation specialist to join a dynamic team in Chandler, AZ. The role focuses on enterprise patching for RHEL and Windows Server, driving automation, and reducing failures across large deployments.

Ideal candidates will have hands-on patch management experience, scripting skills (Bash/PowerShell/Python), and familiarity with ITSM processes (ServiceNow). This contract spans 11 months with hybrid onsite requirements.

Qualifications

• Experience with Red Hat Enterprise Linux and/or Windows Server systems administration.
• Hands-on patch management in enterprise-scale environments.
• Proficiency with BMC TrueSight Orchestration and Tanium.
• Experience with ServiceNow and ITSM processes.
• Proficient in at least one scripting language such as Bash, PowerShell, or Python.
• Strong analytical thinking and production support skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities in a global team.

Responsibilities

• Plan, schedule, and monitor patch deployment jobs across RHEL and Windows servers.
• Troubleshoot and resolve patching failures and related production issues.
• Partner with engineering and technology teams to improve patching velocity and success rates.
• Coordinate with global stakeholders and communicate status, risks, and remediation plans.
