Biltmore Farms, LLC is seeking a Part Time PM Shift Server at Fork Lore in Hilton Asheville Biltmore Park. The role involves maintaining professionalism, creating a warm guest atmosphere, guiding guests through the dining experience, and providing service with a smile.

Training in restaurant and banquet service is available; flexibility and guest-focused service are essential. Applicants should have a high school diploma (or equivalent) and 1–2 years in food service; hotel experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Familiarize yourself with menus, ingredients, and service standards.
• Complete duties as directed by Restaurant Management; train in restaurant and banquet service.
• Maintain a can-do, upbeat attitude and anticipate guest needs; handle holidays and PM shifts.

Please note that the schedule for this position is a PM shift on Wednesday and Saturday

As a Fork Lore Server, you will

• Maintain the highest degree of professionalism and teamwork as per standards of service
• Create a warm, inviting atmosphere when interacting with guests and assist in ensuring that the guest has a positive experience
• Guide guests through all phases of their Biltmore Farms restaurant experience from greeting and seating to servicing with a smile
• Familiarize yourself with menus, ingredients, presentation and proper food service standards
• Complete all duties and procedures as put forth by our Restaurant Management Team
• Train in restaurant, as well as banquet-style service
• Have a "can-do", pleasant and upbeat attitude while providing exceptional service to our guests
• Be proactive and anticipate guest needs and resolve issues quickly
• Be available for PM Shift and holidays

The skills of a Restaurant Server are as diverse as our customers. Many of our guest celebrations and vacations align with weekends and holidays, so our Restaurant Servers must be ready to thrive during these times. Good communication and working knowledge of the food and beverage industry including ability to lift and carry trays are must-haves.

Education & Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent. At least two years of experience in the Food Service Industry is a plus. At least one year in a hotel setting is preferred. Have a working knowledge of food and wine. Have good communication and interpersonal skills; be flexible and willing to work wherever needed.

Physical Requirements:

Able to lift and carry up to 35 lbs. on a tray or arm service where it applies. Must be able to stand for prolonged periods of time and be able to walk, stoop and bend frequently.
