Job summary

Vivie is seeking a Resident Assistant in Minnesota to provide compassionate, hands‑on support in a community setting. The role includes assisting residents with daily activities, meals, and mobility, while fostering dignity and companionship.

We offer competitive pay between $19 and $23 per hour (non‑exempt) based on experience, with employer‑matched retirement, health benefits, PTO, holidays, and ongoing training.

Qualifications

  • Ability to pass a state‑required background study.
  • Physical ability to perform the duties required by the position.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English well enough to communicate with staff, residents, and visitors.

Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with daily activities, including bathing, grooming, dressing, oral care, toileting, and mobility.
  • Support residents with meals, restorative care, and life skills, respecting their preferences.
  • Encourage residents to engage in social, recreational, and wellness activities to enhance their quality of life.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and comfortable environment through housekeeping, laundry, and organizing resident spaces.
  • Prepare, store, and serve meals, beverages, and snacks while promoting a positive dining experience.
  • Monitor and report any changes in residents' health or emotional well‑being to nursing staff.
  • Welcome new residents and help them transition smoothly into their new home.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the team and ensure exceptional care.

As a Resident Assistant At Vivie, You Will
