Job summary

Muckleshoot Casino Resort is seeking a Server for the Muckleshoot Restaurant. This full-time, on-site role involves taking table orders, presenting food, and delivering outstanding guest service in a bustling environment.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of serving experience and must maintain WA Health Card/Food Handlers Permit. Ability to obtain the Class 12 Alcohol Permit and Class III B gaming license is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year serving experience preferred.
• Must maintain WA State Health Card/Food Handlers Permit (required).
• Must have or be able to obtain a Class 12 Alcohol Permit (required).
• Ability to obtain a Class III B gaming license.

Responsibilities

• Exemplifies MCR’s values and provides excellent guest service.
• Prepare and maintain a detailed table before, during and after guests are served.
• Take orders and present food to guests; assist with menu guidance.
• Keep wait station clean and stocked; adhere to sanitation policies.
• Complete daily/weekly cleaning duties; ensure a positive dining experience.
• Thank guests and invite them to return; foster a positive team environment.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

• Exemplifies MCR’s values and set a great example by always demonstrating excellent guest service and professionalism.
• Practice, support and promote the mission, vision, and values of Muckleshoot Casino Resort.
• Prepare and maintain a detailed table, before, during and after guests are served.
• Take orders and present food to guests.
• Help guests’ select food and beverage items (i.e.: explaining daily specials, offering appetizers, or answering food preparation questions).
• Keep wait station area clean and restocked.
• Adhere to sanitation, safety, and alcohol beverage control policies.
• Complete specific daily/weekly cleaning duties.
• Provide excellent guest service by providing a positive dining experience.
• Conclude dining experience by thanking the guests and inviting them to return.
• Create, maintain, and facilitate a positive work environment; promotes positive team member relations and reports issues to the appropriate personnel.
• Other duties as assigned.

WHAT YOU’LL BRING

• Ability to obtain a Class III B gaming license.
• Minimum of 1 (one) year serving experience preferred.
