Job summary

Q39 LLC in Lees Summit, MO is seeking a Server to deliver attentive, guest-focused service in a fast-paced dining room. You will greet guests, guide them through menu options, and ensure a memorable dining experience.

As a server, you will enter orders in the Toast POS, coordinate with kitchen and bar staff, and maintain a polished, welcoming section throughout your shift.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of experience as a server in a full-service restaurant.
• Familiarity with Toast POS or similar systems.
• Strong communication skills and a guest-first mindset.
• Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to stand and walk for 4–5 hours per shift.
• Able to lift up to 25 pounds.

Job Purpose

Servers are responsible for guiding guests through their dining experience, from the initial greeting to the final farewell, while working closely with the front-of-house team.

Key Accountabilities

• Preparedness – Stock, set, and maintain wait stations and dining areas at the start and end of each shift.
• Collaboration – Support hosts, bussers, and FOH/BOH teammates to ensure smooth, seamless service.
• Standards Driven – Uphold all service, cleanliness, and closing procedures in line with Q39 standards.

Qualifications & Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience as a server in a full-service restaurant.

• Comfortable standing and walking for extended periods (4–5 hours per shift).
