JOEY Restaurants in Houston is seeking a Server to anticipate guest needs and deliver a world-class dining experience with warmth and care. You will join a fast-paced team committed to genuine hospitality and consistent service excellence.

The role requires 1–3+ years of customer service, valid local and/or state Food Handler and Alcohol Server permits, and a passion for hospitality. You must be able to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs as part of daily duties.

Responsibilities

• Provide guests with friendly and attentive service throughout their dining experience.
• Assist guests with navigating the menu and recommendations.
• Input orders accurately into the POS system.
• Monitor and assist with delivery of orders.
• Prepare final guest checks and process payments securely.
• Resolve service issues and guest complaints with poise and urgency.
• Follow all alcohol service laws and age restrictions.
• Adhere to food and alcohol safety procedures.

Duties

• Provide guests with friendly and attentive service throughout their dining experience. Show them what Iconic Hospitality means!
• Assistguests with navigating our menu options. Utilize your extensive menu knowledge to recommend favorite beverage andfooditems per relevant likes, dislikes, and dietary needs.
• Ensuretimelyandaccurateinput of orders in the point-of-sale system.
• Monitor andassistwith the delivery of guest beverage andfoodorders.
• Prepare final guest checksin a timely mannerand run payments safely and securely.
• Resolve service issues and guest complaints with a sense of urgency, poise, and good judgment.It’sYour Business.
• Reinforce guest identification requirements and age restrictions for alcohol salesin accordance withstate law.
• Follow all food and alcohol service and handling safety precautions and procedures.

Basic Qualifications

• 1-3+ years customer serviceexperience(If you have high potential but less experience, we still want to meet you!).
• Must have or be able to obtain valid local and/or state Food Handler and Alcohol Server/Seller permits.
• Possess a passion for hospitality and a proventrack recordof creating world-class hospitality experiences.
• Thrive in adynamic,fast-paced work environment.
• Be able to walk and stand for prolonged periods of time; frequent bending, reaching, and stretching; repetitive manual tasks; and lift and carry up to 50lbs.
