Job summary

Foxconn Industrial Internet - FII is seeking a Server Hardware Engineer to collaborate across engineering teams to develop server/storage electrical specifications and bring products from concept to production. You will engage with EE, BIOS, BMC, PA, SI, and other groups to ensure successful delivery.

The role requires knowledge of signal integrity, high speed signals, memory interfaces, and Cadence tools. Travel up to 15% may be required, with an office-based, in-person work setting.

Qualifications

• Experience performing schematic and layout activities independently.
• Familiar with PCB CAD design packages (prefer Cadence).
• Ability to assemble prototypes, including fine pitch soldering.
• Understanding of DFM and EMC mitigation methods.
• Strong problem solving and team collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Work with cross-functional teams to develop and deliver server products to market.
• Apply knowledge of signal integrity, eye diagrams and EMI in design decisions.
• Leverage x86 architecture know-how for server hardware solutions.
• Handle high speed signal challenges and memory interfaces (DDR4/DDR3, USB/SATA/SAS/QPI).
• Use Cadence tools for schematic capture and layout checks; generate BOM; debug and test.
