Job summary

AHMC HealthCare seeks a Server Engineer to design, implement, and advance our multi-platform server infrastructure. You will focus on lifecycle management of Dell and HP hardware, Windows and Linux OS, and virtualization stacks including VMware vSphere/ESXi and Hyper-V.

The role emphasizes security, HIPAA compliance, and high-availability planning, with mandatory on-site presence to support physical infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in systems engineering or infrastructure design.
• Expert-level proficiency with Dell/HP enterprise servers and virtualization platforms.
• HIPAA compliance and healthcare IT security awareness.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture and deployment of enterprise-grade server solutions across Dell/HP platforms.
• Architect and optimize VMware vSphere/ESXi and Hyper-V environments.
• Manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and GPOs for enterprise services.
• Develop automation workflows and PowerShell scripts for deployment, hardening, and config management.
• Provide Tier 3 engineering support for server hardware, network, and messaging systems.
• Design and test Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity strategies.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and engineering standards.
