Job summary

OU Health is seeking a Systems & Infrastructure Engineer III to lead secure, scalable VSI implementations across data centers and facilities. You will design, implement and support server, storage and virtualization strategies while ensuring policy compliance and security standards.

The role requires 5+ years of experience, a Bachelor’s degree, and advanced VMware certifications. You will collaborate with IT and clinical teams to optimize infrastructure and resolve complex issues in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 5+ years of relevant experience required.
• Advanced VMware certifications within 2 years of hire (VCP/VCAP/VC DV) preferred.
• Strong experience with enterprise infrastructure, hypervisors, backup platforms and storage devices.
• Ability to analyze complex systems and troubleshoot with minimal downtime.

Responsibilities

• Leads design and architecture of VSI solutions for the enterprise.
• Design, development, implementation and support of VSI environment.
• Manage data collection, reporting, and trending for critical devices.
• Participate in technical implementation projects and initiatives.
• Provide Tier III support for infrastructure components and make architectural decisions.
