Job summary

Air Combat Effectiveness Consulting Group, LLC is seeking a Server Engineer to design and implement enterprise-grade server infrastructure. You will manage Dell/HP hardware, Windows and Linux OS, and complex virtualization stacks across VMware vSphere/ESXi and Microsoft Hyper‑V.

This on-site role focuses on high availability, DR planning, and HIPAA compliance. You will deploy automation, manage Active Directory, DNS/DHCP, and support enterprise messaging systems while ensuring secure, scalable

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Systems Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or Microsoft MCSE or equivalent preferred.
• 5+ years in systems engineering or infrastructure design.
• Healthcare IT security and HIPAA-compliant infrastructure experience preferred.
• Experience with DR design, deployment, and storage replication.
• Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation.

Responsibilities

• Lead architectural design and deployment of enterprise server solutions.
• Architect and optimize VMware vSphere/ESXi and Microsoft Hyper‑V environments.
• Design AD, DNS, and DHCP architecture with failover strategies.
• Develop automated deployment workflows and server hardening scripts.
• Provide Tier 3 engineering support for complex server issues.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance in engineering practices and security standards.
• Plan and test Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity strategies.
• Create and maintain technical documentation and standards.
