Omakase Restaurant Group is seeking a Server in Palo Alto, CA to deliver exceptional guest service in a fast-paced environment. You will welcome guests, explain menu options, and ensure a positive dining experience through accurate order taking and friendly interaction.

The role requires at least 1 year of server experience, strong customer service, and the ability to multi-task. This is a part-time, non-exempt position with scheduling across day and evening shifts.

• 1 year of experience as a Server in a full service, fast paced restaurant.
• Excellent customer service skills (friendly, relaxing demeanor, courteousness and quick service).
• Ability to maintain a positive attitude and be a team player.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests to restaurant and introduce menu offerings.
• Maintain knowledge of menu ingredients and communicate food allergies to kitchen staff.
• Take food and drink orders accurately using POS system.
• Upsell menu offerings whenever possible.
• Engage with guests in a friendly manner and ensure they are enjoying a pleasant dining experience.
• Take initiative to correct any mistakes or unsatisfactory guest experiences.
• Accurately present guests checks and process payment in a timely manner.
• Deliver food to tables and assist in additional tasks wherever needed.
• Complete side work and other projects assigned by management.
