Job summary

What You’ll Do

As a Server, you’ll be the face of the Guest experience—bringing energy, personality, and great service to every table.

  • Greet guests and create a welcoming, upbeat experience.
  • Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Recommend menu items, beverages, and promotions.
  • Deliver food and drinks while ensuring quality and satisfaction.
  • Check in with guests and provide attentive service throughout their visit.
  • Process payments and handle transactions accurately.
  • Use RAS (Responsible Alcohol Service) procedures and BWW policies.
  • Work closely with your team to keep the dining room running smoothly.
  • Use excellent verbal communication and interaction skills to serve guests and create a personalized experience.
  • Apply time‑management and organization skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Follow direction and execute team and company objectives.
  • Use conflict‑management skills and emotional intelligence to recognize and solve guest problems.

  • Comply with all specs, quality standards, and department rules and procedures.
  • Follow specific service time guidelines while engaging guests and customizing their experience.
  • Maintain a high speed and intensity for an extended period of time.

Qualifications
  • Superior customer service and hospitality skills.
  • Knowledgeable of proper sanitation, food safety, and security procedures.
  • Knowledge of BWW food and beverage menu and ability to make suggestions and upsell.
  • Knowledgeable of current marketing initiatives and upcoming events to inform guests.
  • Excellent verbal communication and interaction skills to serve guests.
  • Time‑management and organization skills with excellent attention to detail, and ability to take direction and execute objectives.
  • Basic mathematical skills and ability to handle money accurately.
  • Basic knowledge of Point‑of‑Sale systems.
  • Conflict‑management skills, analytical skills, and high emotional intelligence to recognize and solve problems.
  • Strong knowledge of restaurant environment concepts, practices, and procedures.
Education & Experience

Required

  • Minimum 21 years of age.
  • Certifications to serve alcohol as dictated by the state and BWW policy.

Preferred

  • Prior experience working as a server or in a customer‑service role, ideally in a high‑volume full‑service restaurant.
