We currently have an opportunity for a Full Time Server at a beautiful senior living community in North Huntingdon, PA! Come and join our growing team!

Position Summary

You will be responsible for setting up dining areas and trays for meal services, adhering to food safety guidelines, and following residents' dietary restrictions. You will assist the cook in preparation and service of meals to ensure residents receive the highest quality service.

Essential Job Functions

• Assist cook/supervisor with food preparation and service using specific procedures, following guidelines and regulations.
• Deliver residents’ meal carts, and set and clean assigned dining area(s) to serve residents.
• Accurately record temperatures on refrigerators; clean and stock as needed.
• Wash and store dishes; adhering to sanitation and kitchen maintenance.
• Knowledgeable of Federal, State, and Community rules, regulations, policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• 1 year food service preferred
• Fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking)
• Ability to communicate clearly to all levels within the community
• Desire and commitment to work with geriatric residents and understand their special needs
• Must be able to follow directions and follow through on assignments
• Ability to work with others as part of a team
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize
• ServSafe certification desirable

Education Requirement

Additional Information
