Job summary

Forefront is seeking a friendly dining services aide to help set up dining areas and trays for meal services in a healthcare setting. You will assist with food preparation and service, deliver meal carts, and maintain sanitation and safety, adhering to dietary restrictions and regulations.

Starting at $14.25 an hour, shifts include days, evenings, some weekends, and some holidays. Compliant with all facility policies and training requirements, you will join a team dedicated to quality patient

Responsibilities

• Set up dining area and trays for meal services.
• Assist cook/supervisor with food preparation and service per procedures.
• Deliver residents’ meal carts and maintain dining areas.
• Record refrigerator temperatures and maintain cleanliness and stock.
• Ensure compliance with Federal, State, and Community rules and HIPAA.

Starting at $14.25 an hour

You will be responsible for setting up the dining area and trays for meal services, adhering to food safety guidelines, and following dietary restrictions based on residents' needs.

• Responsible for assisting cook/supervisor with food preparation and service using specific procedures, following guidelines, and regulations.
• Responsible for delivering residents’ meal carts, and setting and cleaning assigned dining area(s) to serve residents.
• Accurately recording temperatures on refrigerators; clean and stock as needed.
• Wash and store dishes; adhering to overall sanitation and maintenance of the kitchen.
• Knowledgeable of Federal, State, and Community rules, regulations, policies and procedures.
• Responsible for acting in conformance with all facility and departmental policies and procedures including those relating to Human Resources, Code of Ethics and Business Conduct, Health and Safety regulations, Compliance requirements, Patient Rights, Confidentiality, and HIPAA. Responsible for acting in conformance with accrediting agency standards.
• Attends department meetings as required.
• Demonstrates accountability to accept responsibility for personal/professional growth and any required certifications/licenses, if applicable.
• Completes mandatory training and competencies annually.

This is an hourly position, expected hours include days, evenings, some weekends, and some holidays.
