Job summary

Hollywood Casino York is hiring for positions in guest services within its dining environment. You will greet guests, prep tables, and maintain service standards across a designated section, while delivering attentive hospitality and helping servers to ensure a memorable guest experience.

Requirements include being at least 18, having a HS diploma or GED, and 1–2 years of experience or equivalent. The role may require nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age.
• Must have High School Diploma/GED.
• Must have one to two years of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Must have the ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from guests.
• Must have excellent customer service/communication skills.
• Must be able to count money and change correctly.
• Knows or is able to learn tray service.
• Available to work required schedule which may include nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests and verbally acknowledge each guest promptly.
• Serve as an ambassador of an excellent guest dining experience.
• Prepare restaurant and tables for service.
• Responsible for a certain section(s) and provides superb service following the service standards.
• Show enthusiasm towards guest and products.
• Help follow servers; maintain a team mentality.
• Accurate input of orders and delivery of food, wine and beverages.
• Reconcile checks, thank guests and invites them back.
• Clears and resets tables.
• Maintains awareness of guest alcohol intake in accordance with RAMP guidelines.
• Stocks side stations throughout the shift; Performs opening/closing side work.
