• Ensures that all transactions with our guests, associates, and vendors are handled in a legal and ethical manner.
• Complies with company, department & brand standards.
• Completes training as required by company, property and brand.
• Maintains a clean and neat appearance at all times; a complete uniform (or business attire for non-uniformed associates) must be worn at all times in public areas, including a name tag.
• Serves multiple tables, as determined by management.
• Has complete knowledge of food and beverage preparation.
• Can sell alcohol and food items.
• Can use a computer to ring orders on a check.
• Can interact with guests in a friendly and fast manner.
• Can accept different types of payment and make change.
• Maintains specific side‑work, ensuring total cleanliness and smooth operation of the restaurant.
• Can clear and reset tables.
• Can check identification of guests to ensure they are of legal age to consume alcoholic beverages; refuses to serve beverages politely to guests who are not of legal age.
• Observes guests’ behavior when consuming alcoholic beverages, counts the number of drinks served, and offers a taxi if the server feels they should not drive; does not hesitate to ask a manager to intervene.
• Treats all guests in a manner that ensures their complete satisfaction; always strives to exceed guests’ expectations.
• Reports to work in a neat and clean uniform; well‑groomed hair and personal hygiene are essential.
• Performs any other duties required at the direction of the supervisor.

Physical Demands

The position requires standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping and crouching, with occasional lifting of products up to 50 pounds. The employee is regularly required to talk and hear.
